This summer, Texas Mutual is committing $2 million in safety grants to assist eligible policyholders in purchasing safety equipment. Grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All funds have been allotted for our 2025 safety grant program and applications are now closed.
If you already submitted an application, log in to your Texas Mutual Online (TMO) account to check your application status. If approved for a grant, you must purchase your equipment and submit your receipt(s) within 60 days of approval.
Current policyholders in good standing are eligible to apply. To access the application, policyholders will need to have a Texas Mutual Online (TMO) account.
When applications are open, policyholders will be directed to log in to their TMO account to access the application. In the application, you will be asked to share:
Safety grant funds may be used for ergonomic, safety, disease and illness prevention and industrial hygiene equipment to reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses.
The grant may not be used toward salaries, wages, internal labor, the cost of preparing the application or equipment or materials needed to perform a job.

Once grants open, an application link will be available at the top of this page. If you are a Texas Mutual policyholder, you will be able to apply through your TMO account. Depending on customer volume, you may be placed in a virtual line to wait for your turn to apply.
The application will ask several questions, such as how many people the business employs, how the grant will improve safety and health, which items the business intends to purchase and how much the items cost.
Only one contact per company can submit an application. Once an application is started, it must be completed under the same email address. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted. Texas Mutual will complete a review within four weeks and send you another email informing you of acceptance or denial.

Yes, you can apply for a grant on behalf of multiple businesses, but you will need to use a separate TMO account(s) to do so. Only one grant application is permitted for each unique email address and TMO account. Once an application is started, it must be completed under the same email address.
You will receive a confirmation email after successfully submitting your application. Your application status will also be updated on your TMO grants page within 72 hours of submission.
After submitting your application, our review team will communicate your acceptance or denial by email within four weeks. You can also log in to your TMO account and visit our grants page to check your application status.
If approved, you will receive additional information and instructions in your acceptance email. Texas Mutual will mail your check about three weeks after your approval. You must purchase the approved equipment and submit your receipt(s) within 60 days of your approval.
